Robotics is an area wherein Eigenpoint has had extensive experience. The president of the company has been engaged in this field for nineteen years, and he has performed on development projects for the US Air Force, NASA, Westinghouse R&D, Darpa, National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), the National Science Foundation, and the Center for Intelligent Machines and Robotics (CIMAR) at the University of Florida. In 1990, his PhD research was recognized for excellence by his peers in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
Since 1994, The Eigenpoint Company has been designing and developing advanced, state-of-the-art robotic systems. During this time, we have discovered what works, and we have developed a standard and reliable approach to tackling new designs. Most importantly, we are currently applying our knowledge towards developing our own products, so that the robotics sector can benefit from our experience. These products range from software to hardware and particularly focus on the area of motion control. Our first products will be out in 2004, and we are celebrating our 10th anniversary.
